I'm afraid I and Fred are the only people to answer your question and we are active in the main thread.
Light-Wheezy2-porteus was made from Fred as a test. It has non-debian kernel from Porteus and will not be developed further.
The same concept but with standard debian kernel booting with porteus or debian initrd file is this iso:

This will be the furter development form for Light-Wheezy (DebianDog new name).

Back to your question:
Unfortunately Light-Wheezy is stripped down Debian Live Cd with removed hdd install files and options. It is pure debian live system with puppy look and feel and is still in early development stage. You can not make full install easy like in puppy.
What you can do is to make something very close and similar to full install. Copy all the content of main squashfs module in live-rw save file or partition. Then create empty squashfs from empty folder and place it in /live
The system will boot like frugal install but with empty squashfs (SFS) module and all the files will be placed in RW mode in save file or partition. It could be the top hdd partition even I guess. Just like in full install every mistake you make will not be easy recoverable as in frugal install.
This method works with sure if you use debian initrd.img.
For porteus initrd.xz file I'm not sure it will work with empty ssfs module. I think it will have to include /dev/console and may be some other small system files.
