Twinkle is a complete, working Puppy 4.3.1 :)
with an auto start menu for Elderly and New users
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 514#363514
who can be assisted / tutored by a Puppy mentor
and through two BBC tutorials
this one is worth providing to your Noob Silver Surfers . . .
http://www.bbc.co.uk/computertutor/comp ... ndex.shtml
Twinkle also includes Eldy
http://www.eldy.eu/

Twinkle is BIG by Puppy standards 256MB
because it includes java and java programs
for example Tuxpaint is 33MB

I am releasing AS IS and
recommend a minimum 512MB of ram
and a broadband internet connection
It did not work on 256MB systems I tried it on
I think the difficulties are caused by placing all the files
in the Startup directory . . .
- that was the quickest solution

includes the following files:
Java
Tuxpaint
Eldy portal
Jdarkroom Minimal Word Processor

Download and details on setting up

Puppy Raspup 8.2Final 8)

This is great. I could use this to teach seniors how to use the computer. I am writing this running live from the cd and using the Eldy portal.
