Yahoo Mail users, we have some bad news: It’s time to change your e-mail password.

In a company blog post Thursday night, Yahoo revealed that a number of users’ passwords and usernames were exposed to cyber-attackers who used malicious computer software to gain access to lists of Yahoo Mail credentials.

Quote:
Yahoo is the world's second-largest e-mail provider, and has an estimated 273 million users, according to a report from the Associated Press.

What again? Poor yahoo. For those not aware yahoo had a huge chat network that they had to close in the end because, it was like the wild west . no rules. It was full of booters hackers crackers and other forms of life that are not worth mentioning. People used to code stuff with trojans and key loggers just to get an ID that was "rare" eg Nike_______ and those id's would sell for over 100 usd.. and why would 1 want an id like that ? because it was different.
There were exploits by the ton, the best 1 being invisiable ip. It was a trick where u copied/pasted an invisiable link into chat to get somebody's ip and the script kiddies would them mess with your pc. In quite a few cases they would overclock the cpu or gpu causing it to fry. Why you may ask? Because they could. and what did yahoo do? Nothing. and when they did try to do something the uber anti yahoo coders would soon find a way around it.

I guess nothing has changed To me a yahoo email acc is a throw away acc.

Yah, YHOO incompetent to the point of criminality.
Things removed, or altered to distaste

Briefcase: the first cloud app (killed after 9/11 because you could encrypt the files)

My Y! Whiskey Tango Foxtrot there as of late... useless: notice the moduled news running away, very limited sourcing, again useless fluff.

Stock Sreener it actually worked and made people $$$$, vanished!

Groups: NEO, need i say more? (Never Ever Operates correctly?)

If it weren't for corporate holdings in Japan/China, it ain't worth 1c.
JMNSHO... carry on.
