Hacao linux 2.01 released. The live-CD iso file is 79.5M only.

what is puppy linux core based on? i'm only familiar with debian based distros. i've been looking for a vietnamese localization of linux to install on my parent's computer to make it easier for them to use it. also, i see that hacao is a live distro, is there an installation function?

Basis and Installer

It is based on the work of Barry Kauler, and GPL software, of course.

Just find the Universal Installer item in the menu, and you will find different install options with explanations.

Hi,

I can help with Italian if you like it. I already translated menu from Puppy 2.11 base but I would like also to translate entirely puppy such as Hacao made, just give me some instructions to translate Puppy scripts.
