browserlinux 501

#1 Post by earlytv »

With a live CD browserlinux 501 sets up for a TI4200 AGP card just fine no problem, but when installed using grub for dual boot, 98se + browserlinux 501, the first boot to browserlinux 501 does not find the TI4200 AGP card nor can it set up graphics to run at all? If now I use the live cd again and leave a file in the linux part of hard drive, the live cd starts faster next time but the installed browserlinux 501 cant use the file to set up TI4200 AGP card?
ANY WAY TO FIX THIS?

What kind of install? Frugal or full.

I hope you picked the xvesa option instead of the xorg option on graphics choice during install and if frugal, when making a save file.

The

Code: Select all

puppy pfix=ram
boot cheat code at boot screen should get you to a Desktop. You can then use the xvesa driver option then.

Its a full install and xvesa, xorg both do not work.
On the live CD the xorg is just fine, never tried xvesa.
