Puppy Stuff 1.0 (Former A.P.R.)

#1 Post by koulaxizis »

A.P.R. has been renamed to Puppy Stuff and is available for download.

Note: All packages are compiled and tested on Puppy Slacko

What's new:
- More categories, more Puppy packages
- SFS versions for almost all applications
- A nice image and "About" button were added
- Definitions about needed dependencies added

All files are hosted on "Sourceforge" but for the next version they will be moved to "Copy", mainly because it has real-time sync (saves me a lot of time) and also gives the option for massive downloads! You can help me upgrade the available space by signing up through this referral link!

Hi Christos,

If you remember, I tried one of your games and found that it would not work in Wary Puppy due to too many missing dependencies. Since a lot of your "Puppy Stuff" is compiled in Slacko why not put it within a Slacko directory... --unless you've managed to test your apps in some of the other breeds of Puppy.

You are absolutely right! I'm trying to test them in more Puppies, also most of the apps are portable or statically, so i believe that 90% are going to be alright for everyone!

involvment in Puppy community

#7 Post by labbe5 »

Hi,

I want to thank you for your active involvment in Puppy-related stuff, and especially Slacko stuff. I am one of the beneficiaries of your effort and dedication, by downloading some apps to enrich my base Slacko ISO. I got a big boost in performance with Virtualbox for Slacko lately, and some of your own compiled apps.
Thanks again.
Long live Puppy!
