Hello Sylvander

Load and run an SFS file? [Version 10 OK?]
That would certainly help mate  , just load up your copy of: Teamviewer-10.0.36281.sfs
Sylvander wrote:3. At the present time there is no /opt/teamviewer/tv_bin folder, as included in your code.
There does exist a /opt/teamviewer folder.
Does installing [or loading/running SFS of] TeamViewer create the tv_bin folder?
I assume you have unloaded the above mentioned .sfs,
and what you see left there (in /opt/teamviewer) is mainly config files.
You could delete the whole /opt/teamviewer directory before loading up the .sfs file if you wanted to,
it will all be re-created again anyway.
Sylvander wrote:4. Aught I to create the script file before or after the /tv_bin folder has been created?
Shouldn't make any difference one way or the other mate.

1. With all of that done [Teamviewer-10.0.36281.sfs used], TV10 runs when I click the teamviewerlaunch icon I created on my desktop.

2. So what will happen if I now use an SFS to launch and run WINE?
[And then click teamviewerlaunch]
I have:
w1744.sfs
wine-1.5.4-i486.sfs
wine-1.6-i486-p4.sfs
wine-1.7.46-i486_v2.1.sfs
Any idea which would be best to load&run?

Well, if you don't have any other version of wine installed TeamViewer would (or should) work without the need for that launcher script.
The whole point of using it is to avoid a clash of wine versions.

Hopefully it would work,
as to which version of those to choose i can't say, basically find one that works with whatever you intend to run in it.

If for some reason or other one doesn't work, then unload it and delete the /root/.wine directory
then load up one of the others and try that.

SUCCESS! :D
I loaded and ran wine-1.7.46-i486_v2.1.sfs, then clicked on the teamviewerlaunch icon, and both TV10 and WINE are working as I hoped and expected, so all's well.

I thank you for your help CatDude. :D
