Sub_title: Driver required for Nvidia Quadro NVS295

I am running precise 5.7.1 with an AOC 21:9 2560 x 1080 monitor. The Nvidia Quadro NVS295 has a 2560 x 1600 output capability but I cannot find a driver that works for me. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Hi...

Which drivers have you tried and what was the maximum output you could achieve?

Regards...

If I go to the nvidia website and enter your card number it tells me that you need the "Linux long lived driver" number 319.17

You may need to download it from them and compile it. Load devx and kernel sources and follow the instructions or use Shinobar's getnvidia program in the drivers section of this forum.

EDIT:-
The nvidia website is a bit confusing sometimes. If I go to the page "all nvidia drivers" and search, it suggests 319.17

BUT if I go to the "beta and legacy" page it tells me that the recommended driver for the Quadro NVS295 is 304.1160 in which case see my post here:-
