That sounds like the known problem of the wl driver erroneously claiming a wifi device it shouldn't.....and may be showing up because you upgraded a savefile from 15.02 to 15.05? Run lsmod - if it shows the wl driver loaded & you don't have Broadcom wifi then I suggest you should blacklist wl & reboot
