How to run Japanese Ichitaro.txt in LibreOffice Writer?

#1 Post by spidey-westland »

Howdy Forum,

I live in the Netherlands and I'm interesting how to use japanes Ichitaro.txt in LibreOffice Writer to open here the received *.jtd files.

I saw that Puppy Linux is running in Japan.

Hopefully someone can send me some tips.

My system is a ACER laptop with Ubuntu 12.04.

I do have a spare laptop where I can install Puppy Linux for the Japanese files.

Hope to see messages in my pigeon-hole.

Regards

I believe there is quite a thriving Puppy community in Japan.

It would help if you could post a small *.jtd file as example. I guess that the Ichitaro version it was produced with matters.

Edit:
I found some *.jtd files, but had no luck with any LibreOffice versions. No extensions available either. Maybe your best bet:
Download the Ichitaro viewer provided by Just System (Windows only  ). I tried to run the viewer in wine, but it crashed...
