hahaha yes I need, but basic menu entries and app half of menu categoris in slovenian, but will make all, because this is super distro, and recommend this all of my friends :) so because of that I must make that translation, few of them just start to use puppy for web-surfing.

thanks for that momanager link and all patience too :)

I am very glad that you like it and want to do it. :D

But be prepared it is a lot of more work which can be done only if you like what you are doing!

Translation of labels of desktop icons (ex: file write browse...):
SSS domains without a sl translation
select desk_strings and click create

Explanation is inside the file desk_strings_sl which will automatically be opened in text editor.

Translation of menu (Ex: Shutdown reboot....):
SSS domains without a sl translation
select menu_strings and click create

Explanation is inside the file menu_strings_sl which will automatically be opened in text editor.

I suggest to NOT translate the word "Help" for now because you do not have any help in slovenian language now

If all that is done then create a langpack_sl PET and post it here please.
No better would be:
create a new thread in Localization Project and post it there
where you can get get continously help and maybe other Slovenians will find and help translating.

Have fun :D

precise 5.7.1 has linux kernel 3.9.11

Why virtualbox?
What are the specs (RAM, speed) of your computer?

That is more than enough for puppy.

Howt run puppy without virtualbox and change nothing in win?

Boot from CD
at shutdown you will be asked where to save
choose file in your win partition (it will be just one file named precisesave.2fs inside your win)
Copy devx_precise_5.7.1.sfs into that directory
Copy the created langpack_sl.pet into that directory (you can install this in other puppies)

This will work like frugal installation, always boot from CD.
You can restart momanager whenever you need it....

Hope that helps
Just try.....

edit
Or.......are you allowed to boot from USB?
Take a stick and install precise there so you will be totally independant from win (just a thought)

...also half-finished langpacks are useful

You might ask Flash to move this thread to localization section

Hi. Is any alternative momanager (faster) availible for puppy slacko 5.7.0

because original work really slow, I try with this one

but only what I got is small (something like window is open but i cant see where)

Or maybe I dont even know how to start, But I think must be same like in puppy precise.
