Menu > System > Grub4Dos bootloader config

will setup the boot loader.
Use Menu > File System > Pfind
to find it.

So you have made a Full install.
You must make a Frugal install

Hi. If I make frugall, on restart ask me for some files, so I make full.

OK I will make frugal, and not restart after that, and be back for instructions what next.

So for frugal I need one parittion or more ?

thank you.

In most other linux you need a partition.
In full install of puppy you need a partition.

In frugal puppy you do not need a partition of its own.

You use Puppy Universal Installer?

There is question : full or frugal (... and frugal is recommended!)

So use just your single partition /dev/sda1 that you already have.

Repeat your last try but use frugal.
It is your computer and you have/want nothing else than puppy.

I have to say good bye for today.
Good luck

Do nothing or Quit has the same result.
devx_precise_5.7.1.sfs will automatically be loaded next time.

I see on the image that you have the official MoManager.
Install from http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... &start=111 again please.

Then let us start with menu entries without a sl translation
You choose one and click create.
Your editor will open and type in your translation,
Let the first word unchanged because it will serve in the help system,
save and quit the editor.

After a very short time (in official momanager it is a long time)
this entry is at the left side
and you will see it in the menu!

You can re-edit it choosing from left side.

Some questions about using Puppy in Slovenia

#33 Post by L18L »

georg1 wrote:... will make all, because this is super distro, and recommend this all of my friends :)...
I am very glad that you like it and want to do it. :D

But be prepared it is a lot of more work which can be done only if you like what you are doing!

Translation of labels of desktop icons (ex: file write browse...):
SSS domains without a sl translation
select desk_strings and click create

Explanation is inside the file desk_strings_sl which will automatically be opened in text editor.

Translation of menu (Ex: Shutdown reboot....):
SSS domains without a sl translation
select menu_strings and click create

Explanation is inside the file menu_strings_sl which will automatically be opened in text editor.

I suggest to NOT translate the word "Help" for now because you do not have any help in slovenian language now

If all that is done then create a langpack_sl PET and post it here please.
No better would be:
create a new thread in Localization Project and post it there
where you can get get continously help and maybe other Slovenians will find and help translating.

Have fun :D

precise 5.7.1 has linux kernel 3.9.11

Why virtualbox?
What are the specs (RAM, speed) of your computer?
