Installed lupu_5.2.8.7. But it doesn't boot? [SOLVED]

#1 Post by thoase »

I installed(frugal) lupu_5.2.8.7 to sda1 om my computer and saved my own "pupsave-file". sda1 is a vfat-partion and I've set the mount flag for the partition.

When I try to restart the computer, it doesn't start Puppy! What have I missed?

Did you install a boot loader?

What other operating systems is on the computer?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected
YaPI(any iso installer)

With 5.2.8.7 in a full install, I found that only Grub4DOS boot loader would give a proper boot in my setup.
