frisbee dont connect to non-dhcp--static-ip network precise

#1 Post by HoerMirAuf »

Hi Volks...

Maybe anybody can confirm my problem. I am using a static ip network. But frisbee is not connecting at boot time to a known wlan network without dhcp.... it seem its a wpa_supplicant problem.

After opening frisbee and save again the profile under manage saved networks frisbee will connect to the network ...

How can i solve it?

Edit:

Oh.. sorry ... i took the wrong subforum ... i want to post in Precise Puppy 5.7.1.

Maye somone can move it to the right one?

A new version of frisbee, which will have a fix for this, is currently being developed by rerwin. If you can't wait for it to be released, you can make a back-up of your /etc/init.d/frisbee file and then replace it with an experimental patched version of that file as instructed at http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 412#744412.

If you try it, please let us know if it works for you, or how it fails if it doesn't work.
