Boot Slacko from USB with Wake pup

Just tried slacko 5.5. Found that it wont boot from usb with wake pup.
tried ex4 and ex3 plus other usb. no luck. If this is normal then it makes
puppy less useful ..Why use puppy ? With 5.3 its works great. This is the first time i have had a problem. Puppy needs to work with wake pup floppy,
or why use it.. On my dell gx280, I use knoppix with a 14 sec shut down.
But my old compaq wont boot usb. Puppy saves the day..
I see xnview ( very good ) has a linux model. Maybe a pet and fitted to the next puppy.. Just a thought.. seeya wornout still...
