I purchased a new netgear n600 dual band wireless router and when I set it up both the 2.4 ghz with ssid of netgear54 and 5 ghz with ssid of netgear54-5G are shown on netgear setup screen.
Problem is that only the ssid for netgear54 2.4 ghz is shown on my wireless settings in windows 7. This a one year old laptop HP dm4-2070 with i-5 processor, 10/100/1000 lan and wireless 802.11b/g/n WLAN with WiDi (36), I use ATT Fast Access DSL with motorola 2210 modem.
I have not tried setting this up using a version of puppy. Just trying to get my wireless devices working and then move to puppy version of choice.
I have a Iphone 4 which only operates on 2.4 ghz and a Ipad mini which is supposed to operate on 5 ghz band.
How do i get both ssid's to show in wireless settings so I can connect ipad mini to 5 ghz band?
