Puppy does not detect wireless camera signal

#1 Post by bill »

I am running Lucid Puppy 5.2.The Network Wizard detects connections fine but does not detect any wifi signals that are resident in this house (which is four). Does anyone know of any application that may sniff out these transparent 2.4 Ghz signals? Thanks

wifi signals from what devices?
The things they do not tell you, are usually the clue to solving the problem.
When I was a kid I wanted to be older.... This is not what I expected

Wifi signal detection for in house detection

#3 Post by bill »

Hi BigPup,I have four cameras in total ,two are IP cameras and two are analog
units. The IP units were both operating under Vista but unfortunately Vista is no longer available to me.The two analog units transmit to a little receiver box which in turn sends signals to a analog TV which is in operation as we speak. All four are transmitting to my understanding in the 2.4 Ghz range. What
I am trying to do is at least see them on my computer and maybe come up with a routine to monitor them on my box. Thanks
