2WIRE733 won't connect

#1 Post by Onfroi »

I have installed puppy linux onto a HP Pavillion ZD700, and everything works fine, except wireless connection when I Scan nothing comes up, but with ethernet cable it works perfectly. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Onfroi.

We have over a 1000 Puppy versions mate.

Help us out and post which Puppy you have.

And your wireless card...probably a Broadcom.

Get back to us >>> so the next bloke can be helped.

And welcome to Puppy.

OK! After looking through HP's crap support site....ugly

there are 7 drivers listed....how unusual.

Linux searches were also pathetic.

So I would try here...my post

http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=86421

squeeze-5.X.3.4.12-SCSI.iso

You could try the others there later.

And use Frisbee....which is in Dpup.

See my post here....towards the bottom.
Frisbee is easy peasy wireless setup.

Chris.
Version: Puppy Lucid 528 ubuntu
Wireless card: it is Broadcom (Broadcom 54g MaxPerformance 802.11g)

and I've already tried Frisbee and it doesn't help neither.
