Hello,
I've been experiencing difficulties in finding the kernel headers (Precise Puppy 5.6 running under VirtualBox, default kernel 3.2.44) in order to compile the kernel modules of VirtualBox Guest additions 4.2.12: in particular, I was not able to find the package containing kernel headers associated with the kernel in use, so I cannot compile it! I tried vanilla kernel sources but it didn't work (perhaps because the kernel configuration file is missing).
I really hope someone can help me and also that this is not an already discussed problem on this forum. I need VBox additions since the pointer doesn't work properly inside VBox unless I disable mouse integration.
Kind regards,
Daniele
Finding 3.2.44 kernel headers for VirtualBox Guest additions
hi dcdelia
if you click on the install icon on the desktop .... at the bottom is a get sfs option ... you can find the headers there
kernel_src-3.2.44-patched.sfs
