Where is Patience? |

Any Idea where the patience game can be found now? Itas just about the only mission critical application left that people have asked me for...

I made a dotpup of the ace of penguins card games which can be found here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?search_id=2086523891&t=11912
Otherwise MU's repository is now at:
http://puppyfiles.org/dotpupsde/dotpups/
You should be able to find xpat2 in there if you prefer that.

ecomoney,
as a patience game addict, apart from plinej's ace of penguins, do a search of the forum for seahaven, tksol, tkhearts, tkspider, xpat2.
also attached spider, sol & freecell.

Nah! This is what you need!
Solitaire, Spider Solitaire, Mahjongg and one or two others in one very small and complete add-on pack. I didn't make it but I'm very grateful to whoever did!
Cheers

for solitaire games, this will be good when the linux port is done:
http://big3dsol.sourceforge.net/
but, until then, the site does say it runs under wine on linux.

Bubbles - now there is a game
Solitaire - yep - great stuff

Has anyone tried compiling this and releasing a .pet, as there have been a few Linux versions released?
(Edit: Just for fun, made the URL in the quote above active. )
(Edit 2: ...never mind, the download is already compiled. It complains about the versions of some of my libs and says that I don't have libwx_gtk2_gl-2.8.so.0, though. )

Makoto,
to run it needs the wxGtk library, compiled with openGl support. You could see if the windows portable-app version works with wine.
Or, have you tried PySolFC?

Well, I was interested in it mostly just to see what it had and how it played. I'm already running a multiple-solitaire game from Windows (Solitude) through Wine.
I can't remember if I ever got PySolFC to work... I think I made the attempt during one of those times when I didn't have Python or the devx.sfs installed.
