Subject description: How can I use mysql in Puppy ?

Dear All,

When I search for mysql in PPM it does show me a lot of results. When I do :-

find . -name "mysql*" in the parent directory of root I can see

mysql.vapi somewhere.

Does this mean I have mysql ? What is the above file ?

I read somewhere that in puppy linux mariadb had replaced mysql. I am looking for mariadb / mysql .PET for puppy precise. I have found :-

http://dotpups.de/puppy4/dotpups/Internet/LHMP-8.0-5.3.4-5.3.10.pet

but

1. That is not for precise.
2. it will add Hiawatha which I already have + PHP which i dont need.

some tips would be nice.
