What works, and doesn't, for you. Be specific, and please include Puppy version.

No working Bluetooth device after Kernel update [SOLVED]

#1 Post by HoerMirAuf »

Hi Volks.

i did a kernel update for my slacko to kernel 3.8.11.
I used 01micko's kernel-kit. All went well and the kernel is working.

But with kernel 3.8.11 my bluetooth device is not working.

dmseg | grep Bluetooth gives back:

Bluetooth: Patch file not found ar3k/AthrBT_0x11020000.dfu
Bluetooth: Loading patch file failed

What's wrong? Have i to modify anything? Please, can anybody explain, how to solve this?

Mike

OK ... solved it.

i copyed from Lubutu live-cd the folder
/lib/firmware/ark3

to my slacko and now bluetooth is working :)
But i don't know why ... found the soultion here:
