How to make multisession Puppy use my swap file?

#1 Post by gazoi »

Hi folks,

I am booting from seamonkey 2.00 at the moment on a 128Mb laptop. I kind of expected puppy to totally run in ram, but that isn't happening?

I created a 1Gb swap partition too, which is fine if I turn it on, but it doesn't start automatically. How can I turn on the swap so it's active at startup? Will this mean that puppy will run in ram?

I'm using a multisession cd at the moment.

Also, I need to issue puppy pnpbios=off at boot in order to get a clean boot. Is there any way to automate this?

Any ideas from all you experts?

Gaz
