I would like to share that this "exploit" is a lead-in to purchase. I have not heard of this exploited port from the internal LAN, but, can see that it may happen if someone who has this knowledge (unlikely) happens to be on your internal LAN. NONE of my routers exhibit this exploit.

But, I can offer an idea for those who fear this concern
If you have a concern and find the article a good reference of something you want to avert, then login to your router and route port 32764 to an internal address where the port is unused. This way there will not be an exploit either to your router nor the internally addressed PC.
