Questions on Woof

#1 Post by R-S-H »

Hi.

I have downloaded woof and right now I'm trying to build my first woof build puppy.

My intention was to use it to try to build a LazY Puppy using the Ubuntu Precise files / repository. But it seems to download all the files to build a wary puppy!?!?!?

What am I doing wrong?

How to configure woof to use it for a specific repository like Ubuntu Precise?

Thanks

Hi RSH,

Take a look at this thread http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=81762

And just do it for precise. Will keep an eye on this thread if you have any questions about using woof2.

Cheers

Oldyeller advice is sound. In his link the step: ./merge2out is the one where you prepare the woof for creating your wanted distro. Just follow the questions and select what you want to build.
