A few questions
First off - a big thanks to the Puppy people. I am running it on my Asus EEE PC 4G and unlike the crappy xandros OS my wifi works perfectly everytime.
I do have a few questions though that i hope someone can help me with or point me in the right direction. Am running Wary (Slack) 5.5
1) WINDOWS DON'T ALWAYS FIT THE SCREEN
The screen is only 7" and 800x480. On some windows the bottom of the window is hidden by the system tray along the bottom so i can't see all the window which usually means you can't click the open/next/whatever button.
It may even be that the window goes completely off the screen - its difficult to tell. Any way to fix this?
I downloaded the TOR browser but it just won't run - i've seen reference to a PET(?) version - do i need that to run it and if so how? Also i haven't seen an up to date version, is it now obsolete?
The default settings for "tapping" didn't seem to be correct (wasn't working) - any suggestions for what sort of values i should use for:-
Tap time (was zero now set to 41 which seems to work but not too well)
Double tap time 180
Tap move 220
I have had a little experience with Ubuntu so am used to Update Manager telling me when stuff needs upgrades. Is there anything similar in Puppy?
