Is there a Puppy with USB3 Support?
Is there any downloadable level of Puppy Linux available with intergrated USB3 support?
In kernel compile level usb3 support needs this:
CONFIG_USB_XHCI_HCD=y
You can check the status of your Puppy version from file:
/etc/modules/DOTconfig-*
And this has been enabled several years now. Even Lucid Puppies latest versions had it as module. But it has been compiled in kernel since 2.6.38 kernel.
Shortly. Usb3 support will be there in most Puppies..

USB3 Support
I installed Slacko Puppy 5.5 and USB3 support works. Thank you for your help.
Under Precise Puppy 5.5, USB3 (via a PCIe expansion card) works Ok with USB flash drives, external drives, etc that use USB3...
However, a Netgear WNA1100 N150 Wireless Adapter I have only works under Precise Puppy 5.x and through USB2 ports ...and it does NOT work when connected to the USB3 ports.
I fancy it's probably more an issue with the ath9k_htc drivers not recognizing the USB3 devices...

I recommend LupuPlus_5.2.8, which differs from Lupu_5.2.8 by the addition of a lot of drivers, among them USB3. The drivers are listed here:
http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... start=1665
You will find the USB3 driver as number 7 in the list: xhci-k2.6.33.2.pet from http://www.murga-linux.com/puppy/viewto ... 853#453853 already in lupu002-patch-6
The drivers are specified here:
