How to use JRE for Openoffice? Subject description: I have installed versions of JRE but Openoffice Database can't find them

If you look in the openoffice preferences you should be able to tell it where to find java. Have you done that?
From memory I think you direct it to the Java bin directory and then it identifies the java install, telling you the version etc. _________________ DEATH TO SPREADSHEETS
