I had a Pet of Ace installed with each executable game being called what it was. Another later version had Ace and the beginning of the executable file name.
After installing it, the older versions did not run anymore even though the executable name was different.
So...
When one upgrades a game or application, does one uninstall the installed one before installing the new version?
This is something that can be verified just by installing two different versions of Ace and see if you have the same results I did.
Should update PETs specify if the original application should be uninstalled or stay before installing the update?
