(Dpup Exprimo)squeeze-5.X.(3.2.9).2-SCSI

I prepared a live-usb of
(Dpup Exprimo)squeeze-5.X.(3.2.9).2-SCSI,which runs well.
But whenever i try to install any .pet,
the OS does nothing.
It becomes non-responsive!
can it be cured?

I keep a ........2fs SAVE file.
Is it OK?

This should probably go in bugs/beginner sub-forum.
To confirm, when you install a PET the system crashes?
Is PETs have you tried? Are you installing from the PPM (Puppy Package Manager), or downloading PET and installing?
Maybe the PET is for a different version of Puppy?

the whole machine is stuck in one place,after i am done with installing a pet.
yes, i install d/loaded pet files,which are probably for saluki puppy.
but still why the freezing?

The pet is a targz file. Maybe there is problem with your setup.
