How to use Puppy to Caption areas in Photos - A Request

#1 Post by gcmartin »

I saw a useful thing to do with photos, here.

It allows "mouse-over" captioning of sections of a photo.

Questions
  • Does anyone know how this is done?
  • What tools in the Puppy Linux arsenal would allow this type of captioning on sections of a photo?
  • Are there any instructions anywhere?
Thanks for anyone's help

Here is how we did it before y2k in the early dates of internet, before some one found the "3D button making" button macro in protoshoop....

ISMAP

Should still work if you can find a web construction editor from about 1998 you'd be in business. Making ISMAPs by hand is a chore...

My favorite at that time was the editor with coldfusion that they sold without the rest of coldfusion since everybody liked it the best.

'True' mouseover stuff works on web pages due to html code. It has nothing to do with the image itself.

This works well
