PDFTK - where to find?

#1 Post by R-S-H »

Hi,

a few days ago I did try to use pdfchain from LP2_PDFChain0123.sfs - I did never use it, only tested if it would run.

After trying to use it for the first time it complained a pdftk error - neither the sfs nor LazY Puppy has pdftk installed - I think it is a command line interface program (so called back end?).

Do we have a working pdftk application?

Thanks

Dingo's pdftk_1.41 statically linked, and pdftk_1.45.pet, are here:

LupuPlus_5.2.8: I first installed the 1.4.1 statically linked, but could not make it merge 3 pdfs into 1. I removed the 1.41, and downloaded and installed the pdftk_1.45.pet, and then libgcj.so.7 to /usr/lib/, from the links in the thread, without protests or problems. When testing it, the same 3 pdfs merged into 1 in a blink, it worked absolutely perfect! I haven't used all functions, but I see no reason they shouldn't work as intended.

BTW: libgcj.so.7 is 21 Mb installed...

Do you also use Xpdf?
