Subject description: Lenovo thinkpad E525 kein sound		  
Ich hab ein merkwürdiges Problem. Ich nutze Lighthouse Puppy 515 als Host: Kein sound, trotz vielfältiger Versuche mit alsaconf, alsamixer etc. Die Soundkarte wird erkannt (connexant), trotzdem kein Ton. A---ber: Im VMware guest system bekomme ich sound: Dort läuft ein xp, ein EasyPeasy, ein win7 und: noch ein Lighthouse Puppy 515.javascript:emoticon('Razz'). Hat jemand eine Idee?

Ja -- suche und Du wirst abertausende Tonproblem Fäden hier im Forum finden .

Schau nach versteckten .wh. Schnitzeln in /initrd/pup_ro1/dev - der Speicherdatei .

Danke für die Antwort. Der von Dir empfohlene Ordner /initrd/pup_ro1 ist leer.
Kannst Du ein gutes sound-Forum empfehlen? - Altamura

Problem gelöst: Der multiple soundcard wizard ließ sich auf meine conexant card umstellen. Und plötzlich war der sound da! Hurraaa!!
