Hi Christian,
Do you mean the labels of the fields, etc.?
The translation for the French version was made quite some time ago.
I do not speak French and have never reviewed the translation made.
Data Crow can certainly handle accents on characters (it also supports Chinese,
Japanese, etc.)
Having said that, the French version will only be fixed if someone does this for
me.
The resource editor is a great tool for making translations (Settings > Resource
Editor).
Else, the resource files can be found in the Data Crow user folder in a
directory called resources.
Be aware that editing the files directly is supported, but the files have to be
saved in Unicode.
Cheers,
Robert

Subject: Why aren't there any accents in the French version ?
Hello!
We're having a discussion about it on the PuppyLinux forum at http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... ost#720002
(I'm musher0 on that board.)
Aside from that bug, Data Crow is excellent! We used to see DBF databases
limited to the first 128 ASCII characters, but nowadays ? With a language as
powerful as java ? Strange...
Suggesting a workaround would certainly make the Data Crow experience more
pleasant for French-speaking users.
Thanks in advance and best regards.

Good afternoon, Jan.
Thanks for the good news about Data Crow supporting accents, and for giving us the "go" !
I've actually already done a first correction run, and a colleague on the French
PuppyLinux board should be doing a double-check shortly.
We'll send the resulting edited file to you as soon as we're happy with it!
Thank you again.
Sincerely,
Christian
