attempting to set up an interactive Club Clothing order page for my cycle club I have a series of 5 perl scripts all tagged cgi.

They all are valid perl
They all write valid html
The last two post emails perfectly
All have 755 permissions

but after the 5th one has finished doing its stuff on the hosting server a dialogue box pops up in Seamonkey

"You have chosen to open orderform5.cgi which is a cgi file.
What should Seamonkey do with this file?"

I am baffled. What should I be looking for?

Scripts are working? can you see their results?
What does web server transfers to the browser if accept it?
What server is?

It is amazing what a night's sleep can do.

This morning after setting the group write bit on a couple of files that I wanted to write to and cleaning up the line everything is wonderful
