How to compile a C program?

#1 Post by frankmar98 »

Hello, I don't know how to compile a C program with Precise Puppy 5.4. I have installed the gcc compiler from puppy package manager.
But, later, I made the C program with geany, and I clicked on the compile, and build button, and geany says that there is a gcc compiler error. Later, I put in the terminal:
# gcc
and it say:
bash: gcc: command not found

Please help.

Sorry of my bad English, I'm Spanish.

Regards.

Hi.

Usually one needs the DevX SFS loaded to be able to compile source codes.
