extlinux.conf syntax pfx=ram copy [solved]
edit:
Before anyone replied, Ifound that this works:
edit extlinux.conf:
append initrd=initrd.gz pmedia=usbflash pfix=copy, ram nouveau.modeset=0
original post:
I've just moved from slacko5.3.3 to a fresh install of slacko5.4, both booting from USB flash drive.
The biggest difference was the need to add these boot parms: nouveau.modeset=0
I avoid pupsave, and like to modify files manually.
How to avoid typing this at each boot?:
pfix=ram nouveau.modeset=0
