Firefox 52.0 - PulseAudio software issue

#1 Post by liro »

For about the last year I've been using Firefox (32-bit Linux version downloaded from the Mozilla site) on Slacko 5.6. It's worked fine and updates have always installed without any problems. However, the last update (52.0) has caused a message bar to appear whenever there is audio on a page. The message says: "To play audio, you may need to install the required PulseAudio software". Now audio doesn't work anywhere in Firefox.

I've tried installing a Pulseaudio pet found somewhere in the forum but it didn't make any difference.

Anyone know how I can fix this? :|

Thanks

Thanks for the link. I should try searching for the right things.

Looks like I'm gonna have to use FireFox 45.8esr for the moment.
