noob here.... is the Watchdog D/L corrupted or is it me... i've tried a few different burners disks and flash's... Have tried changing isolinux.cfg to , ummm, forgotten now... http://puppylinux.org/wikka/Watchdog the last attempt was using unetbootin, said the file was corrupted.... is the watchdog download available from elswhere?? i am not looking forward to petting the puppy, really only looking for a distro with motion already installed any help much appreciated |

As to another location to download the Watchdog ISO, you could try going to this post. From reading the description, it is supposed to be Puppy 2.16 with enhancements for using a security camera among other things and is supposed to be around 200 megs in size. Other than that, I cannot help. But the thread should contain more information. |

thanks for that 8Bit... im satisified something is out of my reach or wrong... my inability to sufficiently edit all those files or there is something wrong with the file... |

From a post in the thread I pointed to that one gets to by clicking on the word "post", I found the md5sum for the ISO file. it is: # md5sum wd2.iso 5772d5c93cc8a15979bd4545e5214a9c wd2.iso You might want to open a terminal in the directory containing the ISO file and type without the quotes "md5sum wd2.iso" and see if the md5sum matched. That at least will tell you if you got a good download. |

thanks ppl... is such a bummer i cant find zm distro close to out of the box like watchdog2... am giving warywatcher a try an see how goes |

ive just run warywatcher - nice surprise, thanks catdude i just found wd1 from the link, many ta's gonna plug a cam in now.... it works in linux, that i know |
