noob here....
is the Watchdog D/L corrupted or is it me...
i've tried a few different burners disks and flash's...
Have tried changing isolinux.cfg to , ummm, forgotten now...

the last attempt was using unetbootin, said the file was corrupted....
is the watchdog download available from elswhere??
i am not looking forward to petting the puppy, really only looking for a distro with motion already installed
any help much appreciated

As to another location to download the Watchdog ISO, you could try going to this post.
From reading the description, it is supposed to be Puppy 2.16 with enhancements for using a security camera among other things and is supposed to be around 200 megs in size.
Other than that, I cannot help.
But the thread should contain more information.

thanks for that 8Bit...
im satisified something is out of my reach or wrong... my inability to sufficiently edit all those files or there is something wrong with the file...

From a post in the thread I pointed to that one gets to by clicking on the word "post", I found the md5sum for the ISO file.
it is:
# md5sum wd2.iso
5772d5c93cc8a15979bd4545e5214a9c wd2.iso
You might want to open a terminal in the directory containing the ISO file and type without the quotes "md5sum wd2.iso" and see if the md5sum matched.
That at least will tell you if you got a good download.

Taken one further 8-bit.
@ 79mb's- v2 appears beat: ac853d13a583cfd52b43f28331f3c609 wd2.iso
Skip v2.. then see this post. There may be more..

is such a bummer i cant find zm distro close to out of the box like watchdog2...
am giving warywatcher a try an see how goes

ive just run warywatcher - nice surprise, thanks catdude
i just found wd1 from the link, many ta's
gonna plug a cam in now.... it works in linux, that i know
