Mango is a viewer for medical image volumes. It provides tools to analyze images and an interface to navigate the image volume. It supports NIFTI, ANALYZE, NEMA and DICOM formats.

Briefly I tested Mango as dicom file viewer. Works. But...compared to Ginkgo_CADx-2.12.0.4889_linux_x86.pet it is not as handy. I would say that for those who have used cd inbuild dicom viewers generally, will be at home with Ginkgo_CADx-2.12.0.4889_linux_x86.pet which provides the needed functionality oob. Mango is not as easy to use. I couldnt find the essential magnification ie zooming just by clicking around the buttons. Intuitive ( easily found just by messing around) panning and zooming is essential for good dicom viewer. Also color inversion and black-grey-white level adjusting works with Ginkgo_CADx easily.

Ginkgo_CADx-2.12.0.4889_linux_x86.pet dicom viewer is my choice.
