install HP SureStore cd-writer 7200+ on parallel port

I need a CD-RW on my old Pentium 2, and don't have the bread to buy an internal burner. I attached the burner and ran the CD/DVD drive wizqard, but had no luck finding the device. Anyone have any experience in installing something like this? I am using 1.08r1

I have used my backpack CD/RW with puppy by connecting it up and then booting the puppy cd from the backpack drive using the wakepup boot floppy, that should work for you if your using the live cd. Installing it in a hard drive system would be more trouble I'm sure.
