How do i configure lucid puppy to boot to command line

#1 Post by uwontprevail »

I am using a usb to boot, and i just cant seem to find any way for the newest version of lucid puppy to boot straight to command line.

Can anyone guide me in the right direction, i have searched a ton of forums, and have not been able to find anything that tells me how to do this.

thank you.

you need to use the pfix=nox parameter. either add it to the end of the kernel line on the menu.1st
an example

Code: Select all

kernel /lupuvan/vmlinuz pmedia=atahd psubdir=lupuvan pfix=nox
or if booting from a cd press f2 i think when the puppy logo comes up and then enter puppy pfix=nox
