Is there anyway to print an abiword .abw on Windows without installing any software (including Abiword)? An online convertor for example?

What do you mean, 'print it on Windows?' Do you mean through a Windows computer that has a printer attached to it?

Or do you want to open a .abw document in a Windows word processor?

In Puppy's Abiword, save the document in .rtf format. IIRC, it will then open in Windows Wordpad.

Hi, thanks for the replies. Yes, a Windows machine connected to a printer. Need something compatible with Word. I had emailed myself a document to print at the local library which uses Windows. Unfortunately, I forgot to save it as .rtf or .doc and used its native .abw instead.

I was looking for a sevice like this-

Hello, darkhawk.

From within abiword, there should be a function to "export" your text in the universal pdf format.

You can then bring that PDF file with you on a thumbdrive to the library and print it from any other computer the library puts at your disposal, Windows, Unix or what have you.

Best.

Thanks for the reply, the problem at the time was no access to Abiword. An online convertor seems like a good idea 8)
