@BUu - not sure why you are seeing this as everything works fine for me on LxPup.....

You could try editing the .desktop file in /user/share/applications to make the icon line point to a working icon.

cheers
peebee

Hi

Just checked xprecise2.4 (is that what you are running?) and you are correct - it does not include libevent-2 Crying or Very sad

You will need to satisfy this dependency by installing from the x-precise repositories - hopefully ppm will find the download for you to install.

Slacko5.7 and therefore LxPup14.03 does include this library.

Cheers
peebee

For X-Precise2.4....

Download and install (click the file):

http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/pool/main/libe/libevent/libevent-2.0-5_2.0.16-stable-1_i386.deb

plus amend line 3 of /usr/bin/chromium to:
Code:
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/chromium:/usr/lib/firefox:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH

Tried the chromium36 with pepflash sfs. At first it bombed out because libevent-2 was not there. Downloaded and now it exits with "Illegal Instruction". This is a i686 system - AMD XP 3000+ Barton with 2GB RAM.
Tried it with Precise 5.7.1 and Lxpup. Lucid 6.2.8 gave up even earlier. Sad

LxPup14.03 / Slacko5.7 comes equipped with libevent-2 and Chromium works for me no probs.

Please run in a terminal and post the error message.....

If you have installed anything else on top of LxPup, please try with pfix=ram - i.e. no savefile.

Thanks
