Circa 2006-2007 I was a big fan of Tuquito Linux (a Debian derivative distro made in Argentina). I was proud, the community was very friendly and I learned a lot, but... some day the distro turned to be based in Ubuntu Sad

and then they had the bad idea to open Tuquito Social (something like Facebook, but mainly for Tuquito users).
That was a big error, people started to ask technical question, not in the forums (same software than this forums) but in that Social web, that was a mess of things that made start searching another distro, and here I am.

Hope this won´t happen to Puppy.

@Galbi - I agree with you, but some people use fb as their main point of contact. Maybe there should be a more conscious enough to 'funnel' people to the forum.

What are people's opinions on GNU social, status.net, Crabgrass, Appleseed and Diaspora?
