  • Apple is purchasing a fingerprint authentication business.

  • NFC (near field communications) is now a Standard. Mobile Wallet is taking off in a big way.

  • PayPal has just purchased a company to embrace Mobile Wallet in its current business and transaction processing arena. People and Businesses will be able to accept payment (as in paychecks) as well as for items being purchased from them using your xPhone as the cash register/credit approval device.
This has indirect implecations to security as we know it in the community.
