To see it in action:
1 Expand attached file to /root
2 cd /root/pup_event_i18n
3 cp * /
4 chmod +x /usr/sbin/pmount
5 rm -rf /root/.pup_event/*
run chooselocale and change language to de, tick utf-8
It is done in quirky120 the GNU gettext way, described by ljfr at
