Macpup questions (Mostly answered)

I have, well almost, succumbed to "upgrading" from 3.01 to macpup 5.2.8.

I have a frugal instal of the latter so now I have some macpup questions - yes there are 30 odd pages devoted to it but ...

1. Is there any way to block all cookies but allow cookies from selected sites?

2. How do I import all my emails - sent, received, those in their own folders, etc.?

3. Is there any way to make the typing, on forums that I visit, look better than as if a spider has walked through some ink?

4. Old habits die hard so I am using JWM. How do I change the menu colour from the current blue on black background?

EDIT.

5. How do you manage bookmarks - there is no separate "Manage Bookmarks"?

PS. Personal preference - I absolutely hate pmount.

I had expected a, umm, somewhat more detailed response.

Hi, I'm just a newbie, but if you use Firefox then I would suggest:

1) Use an add-on called Ghostery: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ghostery

3) Go to Preferences/Content/Advanced and change the fonts to DejaVu Sans, possibly a larger font size, and also unclick "allow pages to choose their own defaults".

4) Click Desktop/JWM configuration/Choose a JWM theme.

2) You didn't mention what e-mail client you use, but there is usually always an "import" option in the main menu.

liro, Thank you.

Comments on your "list":

1. Done.
2. Done. I found out by playing with sylpheed.
3. Done. A huge improvement.
4. Unfortunately I seem to only have one choice "Black-Metal".

I have, I think, found and and implemented block all cookies but allow from selected sites.

I have also found how to manage bookmarks. NOT the least bit intuitive I must say!
