How do I setup my wireless

Hello, All.

I'm just a newbie and don't know anything. Now, I'm trying from the scratch. I try to setup my networking interfaces for my laptop. but, only:
interface: eth0, Type: Ethernet, Module: r8169, Device description: Realtek Semiconductor RTL8111/8168B PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet controller.
I'm using ASUS X43U but I don't know what's the type of my wireless hardware because I don't get any information when I buy this laptop.

Sorry, for the incovenience because I'm asking a simplest thing. Hopefully U will share any kind of information that I need to be better user in Linux. because, I'm determined that I'll use Linux forever (as long as I can) even though my friends in the office said that I just need to install win7. So, I really need ur cooperations for helping me setup my laptop so It can do anykind of job in windows.

Also, need to tell us what version of Puppy you are trying to use?
For a new user I would suggest you try Lucid Puppy 5.2.8.005.

"2.6.33.2" is the kernel version. You're probably running Puppy Lucid 5.28.

That's an onboard Atheros miniPCI wifi card - device ID 168C:0032
That device is supported by the ath9k driver ... but only in recent kernel versions. The 2.6.33 kernel is too old.
Move up to Puppy Slacko 5.3.3 - its ath9k driver definitely supports that device ID.

owh. I see.. haha. sorry, I forget my version of puppy. in the end, I just mention 2.6.33 from command uname. I thought it's puppy version, but it's kernel version. omg. I must learn again since start,

Ok. I'll update to puppy slacko. btw, thanks all for the info.
