I have a core if second generation with Intel HD 3000 on chip and I also have a nvidia GT540M.
How does this work with puppy?
Any puplet were you can switch between them? Automatically?
Can Puppy use both Intel HD 3000 and nvidia GT540M?
Puppy Linux 5.33 recognizes the Intel 3000 GPU out-of-the-box. If you need Nvidia support,
5.33 has a .pet file called "nvidia-295.20-k3.1.10-slacko_4gA-s". I have am using
that .pet to support an Nvidia GT 520, which is not in the same class as the 540.
But, from my experience, the Nvidia driver should work across the entire product line.
As for switching automatically, I don't know. I have two separate save files, and I
invoke them manually depending on which hardware configuration I am booting on.
